Bridget Ama Darko serves as the Communications and Education Coordinator at the Ankumah Foundation. She brings a wealth of experience in public health promotion, social media marketing, and advanced communication skills. Bridget's career includes roles such as Executive Assistant at the African Diaspora Development Institute, where she liaised between executives and stakeholders, and Communications and Community Manager at Nations of Women, where she significantly grew the organization's digital presence and managed global events.
Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Suffolk, where her dissertation focused on the challenges of delivering Universal Health Coverage for hypertension in Ghana. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism, graduating with First Class Honors. This strong educational foundation supports her expertise in both public health and communication strategies.
Bridget has been recognized for her work in media, having produced and hosted several educational TV programs aimed at promoting health literacy and community well-being. Her dedication to community service is further demonstrated through her volunteer activities and awards, including the Youth TV Personality of the Year 2021 from the Ghana Youth Awards.
