Finance Manager
De-Graft Ankumah Aidoo serves as the Finance Manager at the Ankumah Foundation, an NGO focused on health, safety, and education. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Coast and an HND in Accounting from Cape Coast Polytechnic. Additionally, he earned a Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba.
De-Graft has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently working as a Claims Officer and Head of Accounts at Joy Emmanuel Hospital in Assin Foso. His responsibilities include recording drugs, procedures, and diagnoses, calculating NHIS claims, submitting claims to the CPC, registering patients, and managing hospital bills and bank reconciliation statements. He also serves as Deputy Administrator/Accountant and is a member of the Drugs Inspection Committee.
In his role at the Ankumah Foundation, De-Graft oversees financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing budgets and financial reports. His expertise in financial management has significantly contributed to the foundation's ability to deliver on its mission of promoting health, safety, and education.
Previously, De-Graft worked as a Claims Officer with the Ghana Health Service and as an Account Clerk at various institutions, where he honed his skills in financial reporting, claims processing, and client management. He has also served as a class teacher, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to education.
De-Graft's key competencies include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a strong sense of integrity. He is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet usage, making him well-equipped to handle the foundation's financial needs.
His achievements include streamlining NHIS claims processes, upgrading facilities to private primary care hospitals, and actively participating in clinical workshops and electronic claims processing training.
