Emmanuel Ankumah Aidoo is a distinguished professional with over 10 years of experience in the telecommunication sector. As the CEO and founder of the Ankumah Foundation, he leads with a vision of community development and youth empowerment, alongside a deep passion for education, health, and safety. Emmanuel’s academic credentials include a BSc in Telecom Engineering from Ghana Telecom University and a Diploma in Telecoms & Electronics Engineering from Emit Electronic Institute.
His professional journey includes pivotal roles such as Regional Supervising Engineer and Safety Health Environment Risk Quality Officer at NETIS Ghana Limited. In these roles, he managed field technicians, ensured continuous power availability at Vodafone cell sites, and maintained rigorous safety and quality standards across various regions. Emmanuel’s expertise extends to supervising cell site operations, enforcing safety protocols, and conducting thorough risk assessments.
Additionally, he has contributed significantly as a Safety Supervisor at Comland Ghana, overseeing sub-contractors and enforcing safety processes on major construction projects like the Greater Accra Regional Hospital. His early career as an Electronics Technician at Nksosoo Radio involved transmitter installation and maintenance, laying the foundation for his extensive technical skills.
Emmanuel is a member of the International Association of Engineers and the International Institute of Risk Safety Management. His commitment to health and safety is underscored by his NEBOSH certification and first aid training with the Red Cross Ghana. Fluent in both English and Twi, Emmanuel balances his professional life with interests in watching movies and participating in community development initiatives.
