Lily Baah is a highly experienced healthcare professional serving as the Public Health & Nutrition Coordinator at the Ankumah Foundation, an NGO dedicated to health, safety, and education. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health (Nutrition) from the University of Health and Allied Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texila American University.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, Lily has demonstrated exceptional skills in patient care, disease management, and community health. Her professional journey includes roles as a Principal Nursing Officer in the Public Health Unit at the University of Cape Coast Hospital, where she assessed and managed nutritional diseases, planned public health programs, and provided education on breastfeeding strategies. She has also served as a Senior Nursing Officer in the Surgical and Medical Ward, handling a wide range of medical cases and ensuring optimal pre and post-surgical care.
Lily's extensive experience includes working in the Children's Department and Emergency Ward, where she managed pain, assessed children's needs, and administered medications. She is proficient in operating medical equipment such as sphygmomanometers, pulse oximeters, and incubators, and is skilled in patient assessment, disease infection control, and venepuncture.
